About IF Afterschool
IF Afterschool programs support the social and emotional wellness of children by providing project-based activities that are active, expressive and creative, in a warm and nurturing environment within their own school building.

Our afterschool programs operate every day after school, from the first Monday that schools are in session in September, through the last Friday that schools are open in June. We provide high quality childcare with a diverse menu of enrichment activities. On the days on which you sign up for our program, we will receive your child directly from their classroom teacher. They will receive a healthy snack, unwind and socialize with friends. They will participate in a specialty class, which you select during registration, led by a professional educator for an hour and fifteen minutes of instructional time. After the class, your child will select from a daily menu of choice time activities including sports, arts, games and homework help, until dismissal.

IF Afterschool is a fully licensed childcare provider with the NYS Department of Health Office of Children and Family Services.

Class offerings include Intro to Theater, Drawing and Painting, Mixed Media Art, Coding, Chess, Hip-Hop, Creative Movement, Soccer, Basketball, Sports and Games, Improv Theater, Musical Theater, Filmmaking, Photography, Cooking, Lego Robotics, Science Experiments, and Makers Club.
